This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 04, 2008:
construction. . . eeeeekkkk! ! ! ! yes, complete w/ porta-potty immediately outside my frontdoor---pondering the deeper meaning & feng shui connotations of this predicament ! ok-ok, even MORE space clearing & re-building my life from scratch. after embracing, liquidating & laboring all summer long, am definately persuing that sailing vacation in Barcelona w/ the deep blue MED. as my all-healing horizon. . .

Hi there! I can relate. The noise, the parking issues, hmmm. We also experienced the same kind of non-life for about a year where we live. One place was done, then the next place was done, some simultaneously, some trying to save money using a hand saw instead of a table saw. Omygosh. Some days we had to leave or go basement diving for cover. lol.
Love the picture. Needs another sign under it saying “Noise Gratis”. Oh, the toi toi is such a great blue tarp blue. Do they ever use the toi toi where you are? Our guys just turned their backs and took care of business wherever. haha.
Just discovered Belgium recently. Pricey - but lovely.
